Gorengan is the most well known and affordable snack in Jakarta.
When I was in elementary school, the price of Gorengan is only for Rp 300,- (USD 0,03) each.
Now, they sell it for Rp 700,- (USD 0,07) each.
With USD 1, you can get like 14 gorengans.
Gorengan is basically anything that fried. Bean curd, banana, soya bean curd, spring rolls, bakwan, cireng, etc.
So many options in a cart.
