Yesterday I took Kolak Pisang as my dessert.
Kolak Pisang is consists of banana, sweet potato, and lontar fruit (originated from Indonesia).
It tastes sweet.
Usually it serves hot, but I prefer to be served with ice.
Kolak Pisang is one of the most favorable food in Indonesia.
It tastes awesome!
Gorengan is the most well known and affordable snack in Jakarta.
When I was in elementary school, the price of Gorengan is only for Rp 300,- (USD 0,03) each.
Now, they sell it for Rp 700,- (USD 0,07) each.
With USD 1, you can get like 14 gorengans.
Gorengan is basically anything that fried. Bean curd, banana, soya bean curd, spring rolls, bakwan, cireng, etc.
So many options in a cart.
Seriously, come and visit Indonesia. You’ll be amazed by us hehehehehe….
Nasi (Rice) Ireng (Javanese term means Black).
Kopie Oey is one of mu favorite place to hang out with friends these lately. The decoration, the menus, the foods they serve are authentically Indonesian.
Nasi Ireng is one of their specials in Kopi Oey.
It tastes like fried rice, a little bit salty, oily, and serves with slices egg fried, fried garlic, and very spicy chilly. It is wrapped by a piece of pandan leaves which makes it smells good.
You guys surely want to try this, it’s oh so damn good!
